Your help can make a world of difference!
The College of Atmospheric and Geographic Sciences hosts a world renowned program in Meteorology as well as leading the nation in comprehending the Earth’s human-natural systems. Our academic units are situated to take full advantage of collaborations that will advance the international leadership role of OU in the atmospheric and geographic sciences. We are immensely proud of our students, and ask that you join us in assisting them with a helping hand through the newly established A&GS Student Emergency Fund.
The A&GS Student Emergency Fund is being created to address unexpected real-life events in which students may find themselves. Personal emergencies, like the inability to afford to purchase gas for their car, pay their electric bill, or stay in contact with loved ones after a family tragedy can have extreme implications impacting the ability for an otherwise successful student to graduate. Your help means quick response funds can be awarded when these students need it most.
Many A&GS students come from other states or around the word, meaning their cost to attend OU is higher than average. These students, and others, find part-time jobs, working around their classes and research opportunities. Any unexpected expense or event could have life-altering consequences.
Without financial assistance from our college and supporters like you, some of our students would have to drop out of school. Please help support these students and future leaders.
