The purpose of SAB is to advance the mission of the Student Alumni Association (SAA) by serving as the governing body, representing SAA's interests across campus, and coordinating events that create affinity for SAA, the Alumni Association, and the University. Such events include, but are not limited to: Dinner with a Dozen, The Ring Ceremony, Class Gift, and Funding.
Personal & Professional Development
Taking place the weekend before the Fall semester begins, this day allows SAB members to interact, participate in team building activities, and learn the expectations of a SAB member
Typically held in Janurary, this day provides a way for members to reconnect, asses progress on the organization's goals, and strengthen their relationships with one another.
Tabling at student involvement fairs, new student orientations, and other campus events throughout the year allows SAB to interact with other students, promote a culture of giving, and publicize upcomming events.
SAB members also serve as ambassadors to the OU Alumni Association. This includes stewarding alumni and assisting at events such as Boomer Bash, Homecomming, and Regents' Alumni Awards.
