Charles Wright was a passionate and principled leader in the audit profession, whose career spanned over two decades across both public and private sectors. With a deep commitment to integrity and excellence, Charles championed transformative audit practices that strengthened governance, enhanced operational efficiency, and elevated risk management across institutions. He demonstrated unwavering integrity, coupled with a strong sense of accountability, that he expected not only from himself but also from his team and stakeholders. His ability to influence executive leadership and mentor future audit professionals left a legacy of trust, collaboration, and innovation. Charles will be remembered not only for his technical expertise, but for the heart and dedication he brought to the internal audit profession. 

In 1993 Charles Wright married Michelle Wright in a meaningful ceremony at St. Luke's church in New Mexico. Together, they built a loving family and were proud parents to their daughter Tess and son Ian. Charles deeply valued his role as a husband and father; treasuring time spent with his family. Outside of his professional achievements, he enjoyed cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, indulging in peanut butter and chocolate treats, and showcasing his culinary skills as an expert griller on his backyard patio.
