OU Spring Career Fair

The University of Oklahoma's annual OU Spring Career Fair is co-sponsored by Career Services and the Office of Student Life which houses the African American, American Indian, Asian American, and Latino Student Life areas. Approximately 1000 students from all majors attend this annual event.

Student Life

The mission of Student Life is to provide motivation, encouragement, guidance, and support to all students as they progress through their collegiate experience. The following offices in Student Life can assist you in reaching out to students:

African American Student Life

African American Student Life provides academic, cultural and social support to over 1200 African American students at the University of Oklahoma. The primary purpose of the office is to aid students in the successful pursuit of a college degree.

American Indian Student Life

American Indian Student Life (AISL) at the University of Oklahoma is dedicated to providing the needed support and assistance necessary to help American Indian students successfully accomplish their goals. AISL is the designated liaison office for students, university departments, alumni, and tribes/Nations throughout the country.

Asian American Student Life

Asian American Student Life at the University of Oklahoma is designed specifically to help Asian-American students make the most of their academic opportunities at the university. We provide support and assistance to over 1,100 Asian-American students at OU. Our goal is to retain and graduate Asian-American students. We provide our students positive campus life experiences while they are here and help prepare them for a successful career in the future.

McNair Scholars Program

The purpose of the McNair Scholars Program is to increase the number of Ph.D.’s attained by students from low-income, first-generation and underrepresented groups in higher education. The program provides encouragement, guidance, and mentorship to students as they prepare for post-graduate education.

Multicultural Engineering Program (MEP)

The University of Oklahoma Multicultural Engineering Program (MEP), is designed for the recruitment and retention of students who contribute to the diversity of the College of Engineering. The program provides services primarily for underrepresented minority populations, which include African American, American Indian, Hispanic, and First Generation students. Academic and professional support includes a freshman orientation course, tutoring, career and employment assistance and a scholarship program.
