Congressional and Political Collections

The Carl Albert Center Congressional and Political Collections are open by appointment only.

We ask that you please consider placing a digitization order with us before visiting us to research in person. The archivists are happy to consult with you on your research and provide virtual services as needed. Please email cacarchives@ou.edu to contact the archivists about your research topic.

For in-person appointments, we can accommodate one researcher at a time in our reading room. Please schedule your appointment through the website below. In accordance with University policy, you will be required to observe social distancing and wear face masks on campus. Prior to arrival, non-OU patrons must complete the COVID screening tool for campus visitors and be cleared to visit campus.

In-person tours of the archives and the Speaker’s Office are suspended until further notice. The archivists can conduct both virtual tours of these spaces and virtual class visits via Zoom. Please email cacarchives@ou.edu for more information.
