​I have always had a passion for science. I decided to research inorganic chemistry as it allows me to develop materials for next-generation technologies.

​I am a fifth-year student graduating this Fall. I work under Dr. Bayram Saparov. Ph.D. research projects focus on a variety of materials, primarily ternary metal halides – their synthesis, characterization of crystal and electronic structures, and optoelectronic properties. More specifically, projects have been focused on ternary group 11 halides for solid-state lighting and the development of solar materials to improve radiation hardness.

​I have accepted a position as a postdoctoral researcher at Sandia National Lab.
