My passion for the sciences began as a young child, drawn in by a strong since of discovery and drive to learn about the world around me. Growing older, during high school and undergraduate, I developed a passion for solving puzzles and appreciating the challenge presented once solved. The attraction of biochemistry combines these passions by learning new things about one of the most complex puzzles, living organisms.

I work with Dr. Charles Rice studying wound healing.

I plan to work in industry after graduating.
