The prerequisite of learning chemistry in university was to study science branch in middle school. In middle school I know chemical branches such as theoretical chemistry, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, and analytic chemistry. The world became rich, and I had been aware that knowledge I had had was very limited. I cannot be master for all of them. In the end, because of advice from my middle school’s teachers, I chose my major at chemistry.

I am currently working with Dr. Zhibo Yang in analytical chemistry division and I am focusing on mass spectrometry single cell metabolomics, drug quantification, small molecule quantitation in single cell and cancer related study. I am currently having two projects, Quantitative Detection of Nitric Oxide (NO) from Single Cells and Quantitative analysis of anticancer drugs in single multicellular spheroids.

After graduation, I plan to find a job in industry.
