Chemical Crystallography Laboratory

This facility is located on the northeast corner of the second floor of the Stephenson Life Sciences Research Center at 101 Stephenson Parkway, Norman, Oklahoma.  X-ray crystallography is an analytical method that is used to determine bonding arrangement of atoms in a crystalline solid.  Our facility provides training in crystallographic methods and an analytical service to researchers at OU and other non-profit institutions.

Submitting Samples

Be sure to label your sample with some identifier, like the reference to the compound in your lab notebook.  If possible do not remove all solvent from your sample.  Complete the form found at CCL Sample Submission and bring or send your sample to the Chemical Crystallography Laboratory in room 2800A of the SLSRC.  Contact information is listed above.
