Bringing together scholars from across the University, CLS engages faculty and students in the study of African, American, Asian, Caribbean, European, Indigenous, Middle Eastern, and other literatures.

The focus of this center is on Figures, Forms, and Genres, as well as Literary Histories, Theories, and Methodologies across disciplines. This center also brings together scholars from across the University. CLS engages faculty and students in the study of African, American, Asian, Caribbean, European, Indigenous, Middle Eastern, and other literatures.

Spring 2022 information: Working and Reading Groups will meet simultaneously on Zoom and in-person. Consult with the group organizer for more details and/or for accommodations. 

*Due to COVID-19, CLS will distribute readings via email. Books cannot be distributed this semester.
