Registration for 2019 Fall & Summer Semesters is currently underway!
Environmental Studies has now been changed to a 1-tier advising format. So, if you are a current Environmental Studies major or minor and would like to schedule an appointment for advising due to an advising hold on your course registration account or for general registration advice, please sign up for an appointment in OU iAdvise with Sarah Olzawski or Ryan Peters in the first floor advising offices for the College of Arts & Sciences in Ellison Hall.
If you have an unusual question any of the following:
- Review of a course credit for a course not currently listed in our Approved Courses for the various degree options
- How to get started on an Environmental Research Experience for Students (ERES), Independent Study, or Environmental Internship
- Or perhaps you are considering joining the Environmental Studies program and would like to learn more about it and potential career options
...then please contact Elizabeth (Liz) Ross, by email through the Contact page.
Available Environmental Studies Course Offerings can be found under the Student Resources tab on your left or by clicking the link in this sentence.
EarthMonth@OU2019 events have successfully wrapped up! See you in 2020!!!

For those who were able to attend any of our past events, we hope you noticed that we highlighted the many ways that OU and local Norman City and OK State offices, researchers, programs and services are working to be more sustainable and provide public outreach with news we can all use! You can check out our EarthMonth@OU webpage for a complete list of our OU and Community Sponsors. We aim to continue this OU Campus and Norman Community-wide collaboration for future EarthMonth@OU planning. We look to forward to working with even more programs and departments as well as non-OU organizations for EarthMonth@OU2020 and beyond! April 22, 2020 is the 50th anniversary of Earth Day! Join us to celebrate this amazing initiative to change the way we share our natural world in more responsible ways!
If you are an Oklahoma organization with an environmental focus that would be interested in participating and/or supporting EarthMonth@OU, please contact Environmental Studies or make your offering of support through the foundation on the OU Giving Page for Environmental Studies.
Thank you to all the sponsors, partners and collaborators who made EarthMonth@OU possible over the years! We look forward to continuing to work with you in the future!
