Environmental Studies Electives

This is a list of all electives available for the Environmental Studies BA. Not all courses are offered every semester. Click for a list of electives offered Spring 2024.

Majors must take two Interdisciplinary electives, and three other electives, one from each of three of the four single-disciplinary categories, for a total of 15 hours. Minors must take two Interdisciplinary electives and one other elective from outside the area of their major discipline.

Note: there may be some discrepancies between the course lists available here, and the lists found on the OU Catalog. Please contact the Environmental Studies advisor with any questions about which courses count as electives for the program.

The table will show ten course listings at a time. Click arrows to sort each column, or use the search box to find specific courses (e.g. enter category key, topic, or other term). Clicking on the course title will take you to the OU Course Catalogue description of the class.
