Brooke Hadley


Brooke Hadley is a Masters student and studies Native American history. She is a citizen of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and received her B.A. in Native American Studies from Dartmouth College. At Dartmouth she was a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow, during which time she completed her undergraduate honors thesis entitled "Christianity and Removal: The Influence of Missionaries in Choctaw Society.” Brooke's current research is on the sterilization of Native American women in Oklahoma during the 20th century.
