This track prepares graduates for careers in counseling and emphasizes critical thinking, social justice, and multicultural competencies. This program is ideal for those pursuing a career as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and students completing this program will meet the academic requirements for the Licensed Professional Counselor license administered by the State of Oklahoma Board of Behavioral Health.
The Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Development and Workforce Diversity (HRDWD) is designed to prepare students for careers in a wide range of professions, local, state, and government agencies, healthcare, and numerous other workforce industries.
In this concentration, students will gain skills that are essential to promote structural change. This emphasis is aimed at professionals in the field who seek to acquire the necessary skills, tools, and knowledge to advocate for diversity, equity, and justice in social policy and programming.
