Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling

Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) | Norman and Tulsa Campuses

The Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling Is a 60-hour program that leads to licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oklahoma. The CMHC program may be completed in Norman, Tulsa, or a combination of both campuses throught a 16-week, weekend, and online coursework.  The OU CMHC program is approved for licensure by the Oklahoma State Board of Behavorial Health.  Our licensed graduates have obtained employment in various settings such as hospitals, outpatient, inpatient, and private practice and work with different populations including children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and groups.

Human Resources Studies (HRS)

Developed with practicality in mind, the Master of Human Resources Studies not only focuses on assisting students in acquiring a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of HR- its breadth and depth, but also on fostering a learning experience that promotes critical application of the acquired knowledge to real world HR scenarios.

OU's Extended Campus (Advanced Programs) offers master's degree programs in the continental US, Hawaii, and Europe as well as a doctorate degree in Europe.

Courses are delivered around the world and online to military personnel, civil service personnel and civilians.

The Norman Weekend Program is a new way to obtain your degree in a multi-weekend condensed format on the Norman Campus!  It's ideal for the working indivdual, military personnel, or student wishing to accelerate earning their degree.
