Logan Whalen is a Professor of French whose research concentrates on medieval French literature, especially lay, romance, fabliau, and fable. His publications include Marie de France and the Poetics of Memory (Catholic University of America Press, 2008) and A Companion to Marie de France (Brill, 2011). He co-translated An Old French Trilogy: Texts from the William of Orange Cycle (UP of Florida, forthcoming July 2020) and is currently preparing with a colleague a critical edition and English translation of a 13th-century Franco-Italian prose text.
