Bio

Alixandrea Robinson graduated with honors with an M.A. Liberal Studies and a B.A. in Modern Language (French) from the University of Central Oklahoma. She joined the MLLL team as an Instructor of French in the Fall 2022 semester. Alixandrea taught for several years as an adjunct professor at the University of Central Oklahoma, and as a high school French teacher for Edmond Public Schools.

Alixandrea is expanding her research following her Master’s thesis, We Can’t Eat Gender Rolls: The Paradox of the Citoyenne During the French Revolution. Currently she is planning her next archival research trip to Les Archives Naltionales in Paris for the Summer of 2023. She plans to persue a Ph.D. in the years to come.

Alixandrea teaches FR 1115, "Beginning French" and  FR 1225, "Beginning French, Continued."
