Below you will find campus reporting resources, as well as the department Drop Box. The goal of the Drop Box is to provide a means for all members of the department to provide input, such as ideas for activities aimed at strengthening departmental community, suggestions for improvement of any sort, constructive feedback (positive and negative), praise, or comments on a sensitive subject, related to any member/aspect(s) of the department. Drop Box submissions will be reviewed by two members of the department's Community and Inclusion Committee, who will use their discretion to determine what actions, if any, should be taken, in order to create an environment that is maximally supportive of everyone in the department.
Submissions to the departmental Drop Box can be made non-anonymously or anonymously. To protect privacy as much as possible, Drop Box submissions will only be reviewed by two members of the Community and Inclusion Committee. Currently, the Drop Box is monitored by Emine Altuntas at email@example.com and Mukremin Kilic at firstname.lastname@example.org. In the event of a conflict of interest among either of these members, they will not be involved in the handling of the comment.
For long-term monitoring of the departmental climate, a fully-anonymized record of submitted comments will be kept, which is accessible to all members of the Community and Inclusion Committee.
