From New Faculty Orientation and the CFE First Year Curriculum Program to support for your Teaching, Service, Research, Creative Activities, Publishing, and Grant Writing activities, your first year as a new faculty member will be busy and rewarding. The Provost's Office and Center for Faculty Excellence provides a wide range of resources, workshops, consultations, and more to ensure new faculty have a successful first year.
The New Faculty Orientation In-Depth series promotes an environment for conversations, interactions, and networking with new faculty and the campus community. Faculty will connect with the units and personnel responsible for supporting their careers in teaching and research.
First Year Curriculum Program is designed to be a resource for new faculty as they begin their career journey at the University of Oklahoma. The program will assist faculty with the development of short and long term professional goals and include information on research & creative activities, teaching, writing, community engagement, faculty development, leadership and more.
