Religion and Spirituality
Studying abroad provides students with the unique opportunity to explore the role of religion and spirituality around the world. Before you go abroad, we encourage you to research the importance of religion and spirituality in your host country and to keep an open mind about differences in spiritual practices. Once abroad, you will have the opportunity to directly observe these different practices around the world and to reflect on your own spiritual identity. If you follow specific religious, dietary guidelines, be sure to check out our Dietary Restrictions section.
Religious and Spiritual Safety Abroad
Religion may or may not play a large role in your host country, so we encourage faith-based travelers to do as much research as possible regarding religion and spiritual practices before your program start date. Unsure about where to start? We’ve provided some helpful resources below to assist you in your journey.
