Mary and Don Sherman International Networking Scholarship
International adventurers Mary and Don Sherman have a keen understanding of what it means to be a citizen of the world. Particularly through their involvement in Rotary International, international library community and the Sister Cities programs, they have gained an appreciation for a range of different cultures and established fulfilling relationships with friends all over the world. Both OU graduates, Mary and Don are leaders and generous donors to many areas of the university.
Through Mary’s service on the College of International Studies Board of Visitors, she and Don decided to endow an international networking scholarship that would open global opportunities to generations of OU graduates. The Mary and Don Sherman International Networking Scholarships provide support as needed to students who take part in an international networking opportunity either through a sponsored trip with the College of International Studies or an individual networking experience.

- Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
- Must have a demonstrated need
- Must not be the donor or an immediate family member of the donor
Deadline: February 1
Any student unable to complete the program will be required to return the full amount of the award to the College of International Studies.
