Nick Amundsen is a master’s student from Alpharetta, Georgia, working in Dr. Greg McFarquhar’s Cloud Physics Group. Before arriving at OU, he earned his bachelor’s degree in meteorology from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. His current research focuses on analyzing in-situ aircraft cloud microphysical data collected during the CAESAR field campaign in spring 2024 to quantify how cloud vertical structure during cold-air outbreaks depends on environmental conditions.
