A. Netscape Composer comes with the Netscape Browser which is FREE and can be downloaded at one of these sites:

  Here you will have to enter your 4 X 4 and password as you must be eihter a student or emplyee of OU to access this archive. A new window will then appear and from the list on the left, find 'Software Archive' and click. Scroll down until you find where it says - OU INFO: Internet Browsers (Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Communicator). Click on that and you will be taken to a link to download it.

  NOTE: Do NOT under any circumstances give your 4 X 4 or password out to friends or others for free downloads. By having that information, they can also access your personal records, including grades, Bursar's account, etc. Keep this in mind! They can go here for a free download:

Q. How many webpages do I need to have and what do I name them?

A. You are required to make a total of 7 different pages, which include:

• home.html
• 3043.html
• concepts.html
  • cmap.html
• response.html
• graphics.html
• track.html
• track_rev.html
  

Q. How do I upload my webpages to the internet?

A. In class we will be using Fetch to upload our webpages to the OU sever. Fetch is a Mac only program, so you will not be able to use it at home (unless you have a Mac). IF you have a PC, you will need to obtain a copy of WS-FTP, which you can get, FREE, from the OU Help Desk Software Archives (see link above).
