Library Media Center

LMC : Library Guidelines and Suggestions:
The library is a resource center in which to study, to conduct research, or to do leisure reading. It is not a lounge in which to visit or to loiter. Anyone not studying or checking a book in or out will be asked to leave. Any student asked to leave the library will have his/her name reported to the office, and appropriate action will be taken. During school hours, all students will need to have signed passes to check in or out of the library. The librarian's job is to help you in any way possible. You, the student, are the number one priority. Please let the librarian be of assistance. Some rules apply to individual schools.

Guidance Services

Guidance Provided by school system:
The purpose of the guidance program is to assist the individual to make appropriate decisions and adjustments in light of their own interests, abilities and levels of aspiration. The main goal of the guidance departments is to personally see each student as many times as possible during the school year to talk about educational plans, vocational plans, and/or school problems of any nature. Our counselors attempt to keep up with the various activities in which students are involved to know them even better. The counselor will assist students in understanding themselves and their opportunities, in making appropriate adjustments and decisions in accepting the responsibility for choices that make and in following a course of action in harmony with their choices.
