QUIZ Instructions WebStudy  Distance Learning on the World Wide Web
Internet Navigator...  A Simplified Guide to Netscape GOLD

What to do with the Assignments and Quizzes!

These instructions apply to all WebStudy Quizzes and Assignments.
Use one (or a combination) of these two methods to "send" your answers to your Professors!

All Quiz Scores (Intro through 12) are "totaled" (and divided by 12). The Quizzes account for 25% or your grade.
Be accurate, concise, and "on time"! Refer to the WebStudy Schedule for the "suggested" Due Date for this Quiz!
(Use the Netscape Back Button to Return Here!)

Assignments account for another 25% of your grade.  Try and understand the "spirit" of what we are asking you to do. Do your best to "accomplish the tasks" and remember "Creativity Counts". The "best grades" will be awarded to those students that not only reflect the assignment, but actually "go the extra mile".

Method 1

The Electronic QUIZ Return

Edit "the Lesson" to include your answers and Send E-Mail (or bring) to Class:
You may Delete all portions of the dialog that do not relate to the Quiz Questions and Answers.
(e.g The Instructions)

From the Netscape Browser Toolbar...,
Choose Edit, then Select All.  The text (and images) on this page will be highlighted.

With the text "highlighted" (From the Netscape Toolbar...,)
Choose Edit, Then Copy.  Netscape will copy the text (or text and Images) to the clipboard.

You may now "Paste" the text (images) into a WordProcessor, or your Netscape E-mail Window

To bring up your Netscape E-Mail Window..., Click-on the Envelope Icon (in the lower Right-hand Corner of the Netscape Browser). Paste the (previously copied) information into the Mail Contents Pane (the largest pane) by "clicking-on" the Right Mouse Button, and choosing Paste.

You can now EDIT the page to the necessary Questions and Answers.  Make it neat, and legible!

You must send the Assignments to both Addresses (below)
mailto: First Assignment <bwithers@ou.edu>, <mlella@iamerica.net>
Use the E-mail address format (as shown above) where First Assignment is the name of the lesson you are actually working on e.g .Lesson 1, Lesson 2, etc.

Remember..., you can send "yourself" E-Mail (for practice)

If the "Electronic Media" Fails...! Just drop the paperwork by:
The Office of  Professor Boykin Witherspoon (Class hours)
...or "Under the door" at 307 Carnagie, Parrington Oval, Building is open 8-5.

Method 2

The Standard QUIZ Return
Some students prefer to use paper!

From the Netscape Browser Toolbar...,
Choose File, then Print.  (Netscape will Print this page)

If there are problems printing "this (or any) page" see your LOCAL System Administrator!

Using Method 2..., you are limited to the "existing" Page Format.
You cannot change the Page Layout.  For you advanced Students...,
Of course you can Download the page..., and Edit it in you Netscape EDITOR, but that is "very advanced" for beginners.

Method 3

For those of you with Microsoft Word..., here are the Quizzes in .doc format.
