AME Giving Opportunities

The School of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering is home to more than 700 undergraduate students, 60 graduate students and more than 25 faculty members. We are very pleased that our programs have continued to attract highly qualified students. To ensure AME students have the facilities, programs and teaching excellence needed to succeed, the school must secure strategic resources to recruit, retain, and graduate the very best.

Student Support:

  • Fellowships for Ph.D. students - $150,000 annually ($30,000 per student for 5 years)
  • Scholarships for undergraduate students - $50,000 annually

Staff Award:

  •  AME Outstanding Staff Award - $50,000 endowment

Facility Enhancements:

  • Teaching and Research Support - Metal 3D Printer - $750,000
  • AME Machine Shop renovations (i.e. new CNCs and machining equipment) - $250,000
  • Felgar Hall building renovation and updates - $10M
  • Research facilities upgrades - $150,000 for various spaces

Program Support:

  • AME Lecture Series - $50,000 endowment
