Biography

Lisa started working for ExxonMobil after college in the downstream Research and Engineering organization (EMRE) as a process engineer supporting refining operations worldwide.  She moved to Houston Texas a week before Hurricane Rita (2005) as a contact engineer at the Baytown Refinery.  In addition to supporting the restart efforts following Hurricane Rita, she supported a number of major projects and turnarounds.  Lisa then worked as a process design engineer for EMRE designing new equipment and teaching new engineers the basics of design.  She moved to the Beaumont Refinery in 2009 as the technical start-up leader for a large environmental project.  Recently, Lisa has moved to Baton Rouge as the process technical section supervisor at the Baton Rouge Polyolefins facility.

Lisa is a native Oklahoman, having lived in Norman most of her life.  She graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2002 with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering.  She is married to Kendall Rogers, an aerospace engineer who also graduated from the University of Oklahoma. They currently live in Baton Rouge LA.  In her spare time, she plays volleyball and competes in triathlons.
