For More Information About CS
Please email us for additional information. We want to answer your questions and provide you with the information you need.
*Please note the following before emailing CS:
- Any/all questions regarding the application and application fees should be sent to the OU Admissions Office (international admissions if outside the U.S. – intladmissions@ou.edu; domestic admissions if inside the U.S. – admissions@ou.edu). Application fees are typically not waived so Admissions must address all inquiries about application fees.
- Questions about cost of attendance and financial aid/assistance should be posed directly to the OU Student Financial Center (https://www.ou.edu/sfc).
- English proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL) cannot be waived unless you meet the criteria found at https://www.ou.edu/admissions/apply/international/english-proficiency-requirements as well as meeting the approved Native English-speaking countries criteria (https://ou.edu/admissions/apply/international/ou-approved-native-english-speaking-countries). These are criteria set by Admissions.
- The GRE is not required for admission to the graduate program in CS, but an undergraduate or graduate GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) is required for graduate program admission to CS.
- Assistantships are not and cannot be guaranteed, and assistantships are typically determined a semester to a year before the actual term and year of the assistantship. Visit this link for more information - https://www.ou.edu/coe/cs/resources/assistantships.
