BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Sina Khanmohammadi is an assistant professor in the School of Computer Science at the University of Oklahoma. Prior to joining OU, he was a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Electrical & Systems Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Khanmohammadi has received his Ph.D. in Systems Science from the State University of New York at Binghamton, M.Sc. in Manufacturing Management from the University of Hertfordshire in UK, and B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Tabriz in Iran. His research involves using neuroimaging datasets to understand the underlying principles and mechanism that govern cognitive function and how they get disrupted due to various brain-related disorders. His long-term goals are to develop data-driven methods that could be used in next generation neural implants for improvement of cognitive function and quality of life in both patients and healthy individuals.
