Rui Zhu is an Assistant Professor in the School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Oklahoma. She earned her Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University. Her research interests focus on data-driven modeling, analysis, and optimization of sensor-integrated complex systems for process monitoring and control, system diagnostics and prognostics, quality and reliability improvement, and performance optimization, with applications in, but not limited to, healthcare and virtual reality. Her research received the Best Track Paper Award in 2021 IISE Human Factors and Ergonomics and Honorable Mention in 2020 INFORMS Conference on Service Science.
