Brittany Hott

Dr. Brittany Hott is an associate director of the Institute for Community and Society Transformation (ICAST) and associate professor of special education at the University of Oklahoma. Her work focuses on instructional methods for students with learning and behavioral disabilities, assessment and evaluation in rural education, and the translation of special education research to practice. Her recent work appears in the Journal of Special Education, Behavior Modification, Behavior Analysis in Practice, and Learning Disability Quarterly. Dr. Hott is the recipient of the American Council on Rural Special Education's Research and Evaluation Award and is an active member of the special education community. She is currently serving as co-chair of the Council for Exceptional Children's Publications Committee and is a past president of the International Council for Learning Disabilities. 

Fun Fact: Dr. Hott is a New York and Boston marathon qualifier.  She is a multiple Ironman finisher.
