Graduate Researcher

Joshua Chappell

Hello! My name is Josh Chappell and I am a graduate student at the University of Oklahoma. During my time in academia, I have gained extensive experience with Clinical and Quantitative psychology. However, I am currently getting my PhD in Industrial Organizational psychology. My research interests include sleep, workplace stressors, and the work-family interface. After I graduate, I plan on going into academia to become a professor in the school of business.

Fun Fact: I am an avid learner in the world of Asian-American cuisine. I strive to master many different dishes, but my current favorites to prepare for family and friends include: egg fried rice, beef and broccoli, kimchi, and adobo chicken.

Encouraging Note: I have much to learn about the work lives of early childhood educators, but I can tell based on the research that it is very difficult and selfless work. I am excited to be a part of the HTP team as we strive to improve the well-being and work of these hard-working individuals.
