Program Area: Counseling Psychology
My teaching, research, and clinical foci have been shaped by my feminist and social justice orientations. Specifically, my interests are in the areas of sexual violence; diversity issues, including sexual orientation and gender nonconformity; and gender roles and relational cultural theory. My interests are continually challenged and expanded by the wonderful advisees with whom I have the honor to work. I hold a joint appointment as a faculty member in the Women's and Gender Studies program (WGS) and am an affiliate faculty member in the Center for Social Justice. An important aspect of my professional and personal identity is community and campus engagement.
