American Painters of the 19th Century

Twenty-five paintings on loan from the collection of international Business Machines Corporation present a capsule view of painting in America during the Nineteenth Century. Thomas Cole, Eastman Johnson, Raphael Peale, Washington Allston, Ralph Blakelock, George Iness, Thomas Moran and Winslow Homer are included in the exhibition.
