The Painting of Persia and India

Forty paintings from the collection of Dr. and Mrs. Leland C. Wyman of Boston University cover Persian painting from the early 14^th century through the 17^th century and Indian painting from the 16^th though the 20^th century. Examples of the Mongol, Safavid, Mughal, Rajput, Deccani and Orissan styles are included. The exhibition was sponsored by Philbrook Art Center, Tulsa, and has been circulating in southwestern museums.
