Perception and Visual Expression
November 6 – 25
The exhibition consists of 40 panels of graphic analyses, reproductions, photographs and texts on the findings of modern psychology concerning the creative process. How the eye organizes material according to definite psychological laws, and how these lays function within the social environment are elucidated. The exhibition was prepared for the American Federation of Arts by Samuel Lebowitz of the Pratt Institute of Art School. The Museum of Art and the Psychology Department of the University of Oklahoma are co-sponsors of the exhibition on the campus.
