Institute director Dr. Nancy Snow will participate in a conference on "Morality, Moral Philosophy, and the Humanities in the Age of Neuroscience" at Kent State University, Kent, OH.
"The purpose of this conference is to explore the implications for the humanities of cognitive and neuroscientific findings regarding moral judgment and moral action: in light of these findings, what role might the various humanities disciplines—philosophy, literature, languages, history, and religion studies—play in enhancing moral judgment and moral action, both individual and collective?"
