Many students choose to not bring a car to campus. Everything you need or want is available on or very near to your campus home. Below are some details you should be aware of when bringing a bicycle to campus.

Bicycle Guidelines:
•Non-folding bicycles are prohibited within the residence halls. Bicycles that can be folded and take up no more than 92 linear inches of space can be stored in a student’s residence hall room. Students are asked to fold and unfold these bicycles outside of the residence halls.
•Be sure to bring a strong lock and chain for the bike racks.
•Bicycle racks are available around each housing center for easy access, as well as at multiple locations across campus.

Bicycle Lockers:
•A limited number of bicycle lockers are available for semester or full-year rental.
•For your convenience, you may reserve your bike locker prior to your arrival by calling (405) 325-2511. The cost is $55/semester or $100/year.
•When you reserve a bicycle locker, your key will be available upon your arrival in August.

Bicycle Registration:
University policy mandates bicycle registration.

Washers and dryers are located in the following areas:

·      DLB Center: Building south of Quad 3

·      Couch Center: Basement

·      Walker Center: Basement

Residents will have credits for eight laundry cycles (washing and drying are two separate cycles) preloaded to their Sooner Card each week. One additional dollar for drying credit is also available in case students need it. The credits will expire at 11:59 p.m. each Saturday and will not roll over to the next week.

Washing machines are not to be used for dyeing.

Please remember to be considerate of others and promptly remove clothes from the washers and dryers. The university is not responsible for articles left unattended.
