Junior Christina Cheng, a chemical biosciences (pre-med) major, was able to travel to Honduras for a week with the OU Global Brigades campus chapter. Christina got the chance to visit two different communities, Sabaneta and Granadilla. There she was able to shadow doctors, interact with patients, and educate both communities on general dental hygiene. When asked about her trip she said "It was an incredible experience, and I was able to learn so much about the communities and healthcare." Christina's plans after graduation are to attend medical school.
