At OU, fostering an environment of integrity, respect, and the highest ethical standards is a top priority. Each member of the OU community shares the responsibility of ensuring these values are firmly upheld and concerns are promptly addressed.

The university’s reporting hotline – OU Report It! – provides a simple and anonymous way for employees, students, and community members to report concerns or possible misconduct.

The OU Report It! hotline enables reporting of concerns related, but not limited, to:

  • Human Resources
  • Academics
  • Safety
  • Student Affairs
  • Accounting and Financial
  • Regulatory/Policy Compliance
  • Institutional Equity
  • Athletics
  • Research

Anonymity is Ensured:

The university has partnered with EthicsPoint, an independent third party, to provide this avenue to confidentially report suspected wrongdoing or unethical behavior without the fear of retaliation.

EthicsPoint collects reports made to OU Report It! via phone, web, and mobile intake. EthicsPoint provides a secure server for the incident management system, and university personnel do not have access to data that could identify an anonymous reporter or their IP address. EthicsPoint is contractually committed not to pursue a reporter’s identity.

Reporting incidents of bias and harmful speech helps promote a safe and healthy environment for everyone on campus. The university does not investigate or discipline members of the OU community for engaging in legally protected speech.

How to Submit a Report:

Violations or concerns may be submitted to the OU Report It! hotline 24 hours a day through the following methods:
