OU to Celebrate Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Week

The University of Oklahoma’s Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will host a series of events March 21-27 to promote the importance of making OU a place of true belonging for all. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to participate in DEI Week events and to reflect on how we can all build lasting change at OU.

Pathway to Belonging
Wednesday, March 24 | Noon – 1:30 p.m.
Virtual Event – Register to Attend Here

Students, faculty and staff from all three campuses are invited to attend Pathway to Belonging, during which the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will highlight its successes from the past year and share future goals.

Neighborhood Table
Friday, March 26 | 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Health Sciences Center: David L. Boren Student Union

OU-Tulsa: Main Administrative Building

Join other members of the OU Community for Neighborhood Table, where you can grab lunch and learn about the launch of the six-week DEI challenge.

Six-Week DEI Challenge
During this year’s DEI Week, the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is launching a six-week DEI challenge – Explore, Learn and Reflect. Through the challenge, community members will explore -isms and their impact, learn about personal identities and the identities of others, and reflect on how we can impact systems of oppression.
