Loose Change To Loosen Chains
April 11-15

Join us for OU InterVarsity’s annual weeklong funds drive! The purpose of Loose Change to Loosen Chains, or LC2LC, is to raise awareness and loose change to fight human trafficking and stand up for the oppressed. We will be tabling on campus on the South Oval and in the Union during the week of April 11-15. On Thursday, April 14, we will host speakers from Love 146.

All donations raised from LC2LC this year will go to Love 146, a non-profit organization working stateside and abroad for the abolition of child trafficking and exploitation through prevention and survivor care. From Love146: “We want abolition and restoration! We combat child trafficking & exploitation with the unexpected and restore survivors with excellence.” For more info, visit: https://love146.org

Benefit Night at Pickleman's: Come eat at Pickleman's on Wednesday April 13th from 5-8pm, as we partner to raise awareness and money for Loose Change to Loosen Chains! Please sign-up ahead of time if possible here! If you can't sign up, that's fine- we'd still love for you to join us! Please ask for the sign in sheet when you get to get your dinner. All donations raised will go to Love 146. View the facebook event here!

On Thursday evening, join us as we hear from Christopher Grady, a representative of Love 146. This is the organization all of the fundraising will benefit this year. We will also have several guest artists, Gina Butler and Jane Hsi, who will be presenting some of their works on humanity and specifically human trafficking. Additionally, we will be reading a selection of verses from the Bible on justice and compassion. Please note that this event will be held in place of our normal InterVarsity Large Group Bible Study this week at 8 pm in Zarrow Hall. View the facebook event here!
