InterVarsity is a part of a global community of movements called IFES- International Fellowship of Evangelical Students! IFES does many wonderful things, but one of their largest events is the annual World Student Day. Our chapter's World Student Day celebration and event is just one of many that will be going on worldwide as students, staff and supporters pray for one another and for specific situations facing students around the world.

Thursday, October 19, (in place of regular Large Group time) we will have an international potluck and celebration night in preparation for the day of prayer on Friday. We will be learning about different countries, other IFES chapters, and how we can pray for them.

On Friday, October 20, students from around the world will spend the day praying for each other. We'll be talking to the Almighty God of the universe about students like us in other places! How cool is that?! To join in, visit the Regents Room in the Union. From 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, this room will be a quiet place set apart for prayer for students around the globe. There will be stations with resources on every region of the world that will include specific prayer requests for regions, countries, and other IFES chapters.
