Previous Years

There was a major change in the way OU reports enrollment information, effective with the 2015 Fact Book, compared to prior years. Norman Campus is actually made up of several different subareas, including offerings in Tulsa and our Extended Campus (formerly Advanced Programs) offerings to military personnel across the globe.

IRR used to provide enrollment data for Norman On-Campus only as our default, but over the past five years or so the changes in the way our students enroll in classes has made that practice unrepresentative of overall campus activities. The subareas that make up Norman Campus activities have a lot of cross-enrollment with Norman On-Campus and each other, so we’ve chosen to make the overall, unduplicated total enrollment for all those activities the default enrollment information we show in our reports.

We realize that providing enrollment for all Norman Campus programs does not work for all purposes. If you are interested in the number of students living in and around Norman and attending classes in-person, that’s one of the times when using Norman On-Campus only makes the most sense.  Please contact us if you have any questions about this methodology change.

For prior years not listed, please contact our office.
