United Way Day of Caring

2021 DATES: SEPTEMBER 7 - 17

day of caring logo

Every September, the United Way hosts Day of Caring. A variety of Norman businesses volunteer their time to help complete projects for community service organizations. OU contributes to this day by hosting a "Day of Caring Drive." All the offices, departments and students on campus collect various items, such as clothes, new books, toys, board games, dolls and canned foods, for this multi-purpose drive. United Way then distributes what has been collected to all the community service agencies in Norman. This is another prime example of how the students, faculty and staff give back!

This year we have decided to allow you to choose the agency you will support through a first come, first serve basis!

Your department or organization will be collecting supplies for that specific agency and we will come collect everything Friday, September 17th by noon. Please email Vicky Bumgarner if you have any questions!
