• Select an issue about distance learning.
• Create a report of your selected issue of distance learning.
• Share your report to class members.
• Provide feedback for other students' reports.

1. Research an issue of distance education and share your report with peer students. (due by May 18) (10 points)

• Topic: Issues of distance learning (DL) (e.g., learning outcome, technology utilization, learning styles, etc.)
• Develop your issue report including the following items:
  • Title of the issue topic, your name, submission date
  • Issues and problems of DL
  • Definitions and main concepts related to the selected issue of DL
  • Research findings about the issue
  • Solutions and future directions for the issue
• Format and length of the report:
  • Use APA style.
  • Use organizational headings.
  • Report length (between 3~5 pages)
  • Format (1.5 spaced, Times New Roman, 12 point)
• Save your file as "DLissue_paper_lastname.doc" and submit it to your group's homepage area.
• For this, upload it to People->Groups->your group's name (Group A or B)->Files Area->"DL Issue Paper" folder.

2. Review and provide feedback of peer students' issue papers. (due by May 21) (4 points)

• Read peers' issue papers under Files Area of your group's homepage.
• Using the discussion board (DL Issue Paper Group A or B Discussion) under your group's homepage, provide your reflective and integrated thoughts about peers' issue papers as follows:
  
  • Those aspects that you agree or disagree found in the peers' reports
  • Criticality of those issues raised by peers in distance education
  • Possible solutions to address those issues in order to successfully design and deliver distance education

Evaluation

This assignment is worth 14 points of your grade.
