The Spring Break Student Expo is CANCELLED

Due to the ongoing and spreading effects of the coronavirus (COVID-19), we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Spring Break Student Expo scheduled for March 13, owing to health advisories discouraging public gatherings.


Registration for this event is $15.00. 

All registrations include access to networking and the Challenge Bowl, one (1) Short Course and one (1) entry into the poster competition. All registrations are non-refundable.

Challenge Bowl

Come test your knowledge of the earth sciences and compete against teams from other universities to be crowned the Mid-Continent champion! 

Teams must consist of two (2) participants.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

During registration, you will be prompted to submit an abstract. Abstracts are only required for those who are participating in the poster contest.

Please use the following guidelines:

  • Abstracts must include: presenters name, title and affiliation
  • Abstracts should be no longer than 1 page
  • Only 1 abstract may be submitted per person
  • Deadline for submissions: March 9, 2020

Poster Requirements

Please use the following guidelines:

  • Max poster size: 42" x 60"
  • Only 1 poster may be presented per person
