Research Interest: Reservoir Characterization, Petrophysics, Enhanced Oil Recovery

Bio: Dr. Ali Tinni is an Assistant Professor in the Mewbourne School of Petroleum and Geological Engineering. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Geology and Hydrogeology from Cadi Ayyad University in Morocco, before pursuing Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Petroleum Engineering at the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Tinni’s research interests revolve around reservoir characterization and enhanced oil recovery. In his research, Dr. Tinni uses many experimental methods such as Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), Dielectric, Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR), and Sub Critical Adsorption measurements.
