NORMAN, OKLA. – U.S. News & World Report has unveiled its 2023 Best Online Programs rankings, and the University of Oklahoma continued its trend of consistently landing in the top online programs in the nation, ranking in 12 categories. This is the eighth consecutive year OU has made the list.

The list, an analysis of U.S. higher education options for nontraditional learners, named OU No. 9 among best online bachelor’s degree programs for veterans, up one spot from last year. Also ranking in the Top 10 best online programs for veterans was the Criminal Justice master’s degree program, which landed at No. 8.

In addition, out of more than 380 programs nationwide, OU ranked No. 16 in the overall category of best online bachelor’s degree programs.

“OU is the regional leader in online learning, and we are continually striving to deliver a distinctive learning experience that is flexible enough to meet our students’ needs without sacrificing quality,” Garn said. “We are proud of our long history of bringing top-notch OU degrees to students who are balancing school with work, family and other obligations.
