Science Museum Oklahoma has cooked up something spooky for us during #NWF21! Today we are looking at a vortex cannon – and what that has to do with Bernoulli's principle!

Outdoor Movie Night!

As part of the week-long National Weather Festival, the College of A&GS proudly presents our first-ever Outdoor Movie Night! The College of A&GS will also be providing Weather Safety Backpacks to the first 100 K-12 students that provide proof of enrollment. Please check the graphics for detailed schedule of events. We encourage masking and social distancing at this completely outdoor event. We encourage you to bring blankets and chairs, as these will not be provided, and the viewing area is a grassy field.

This is a free event, but of course please bring money for the tasty tacos being offered!

Please note: Entrance into the NWC will not be allowed, and outdoor bathrooms will be available.

OUTDOOR MOVIE NIGHT hosted at the NWC in Norman, OKon friday October 29, 2021. Schedule of Events: 5:30pm Visit with local news stations and the NWC's very own Weather friends, Enjoy Tacos from lalo's taco chop food truck. 7pm Showing of COCO. 9pm Showing of Twister. This event will be canceled if there is inclement weather. All events will be held outside the NWC as the center will remain closed to the public. We encourage all attendees to bring a blanket or chair for outdoor seating. We also encourage attendees to dress in their favorite halloween/fall attire.
